Gain access to expertise on Guernsey as an agile jurisdiction for investment and funds from our specialist delegation in London.

Guernsey Finance UK Representative Jo Kitcat will lead a delegation comprising Matt Sanders, Managing Partner at Walkers, Natalie Shields, Advisory Director at KPMG, Angus Findley, Senior Director at RBSI and Luke Jager, Client Director at Ocorian.

The delegation will share their expertise on Guernsey as a world-leading jurisdiction for the servicing and domiciliation of all fund types. They will host a breakfast workshop on Wednesday 07 May with guest speaker Joe Briggs, Founder of Briggs Capital Formation LLP. The delegation will then have two days of meetings.

Guernsey has assets under management of more than £280 billion and maintains a supportive ecosystem that enables first-time and experienced fund managers. There are a range of fund structures available in Guernsey with different levels of regulatory oversight, offering flexibility, global access and speed to market.

Luke is the Client Relationship Director at Ocorian, specialising in Private Equity and Venture Capital fund administration. With over 21 years of financial industry experience in both relationship and operational management roles for large and mid-size financial institutions in Guernsey. Luke owns strategic engagement for a broad spectrum of clients based in multiple jurisdictions across the Ocorian Fund Services business.

His primary role is to manage the strategic relationship between clients and Ocorian, including ensuring the client service functional teams are delivering to the strategic needs of the client and that all commercial and legal disciplines are delivered. Luke has a keen interest in technology leading strategic product development implementation with the clients and responsible for positioning new products and services across Fund Services.

Matt Sanders is the Managing Partner of our Guernsey office and a leading practitioner in investment funds and corporate law, with 18 years of offshore experience.

He specialises in the structuring, establishment, and restructuring of investment funds, including Guernsey Private Fund structures, as well as high-value transactions involving Guernsey company law. His expertise extends to mergers and acquisitions, particularly those involving regulated corporate service providers and trust companies.

Matt works closely with Walkers’ investment funds and corporate teams across jurisdictions, to provide seamless cross-border advice.
