Christina is a Board Director and Executive Committee member for Aon Insurance Managers, Guernsey. Aside from her directorship and underwriting team responsibilities she manages the insurance needs for a captive portfolio via Aon Guernsey’s Insurance Centre of Excellence. Christina is a board Director for a number of captive insurance companies and Operational Executive for others.

As a captive practitioner and strategy leader Christina has over 35 years international insurance market experience in senior management and team leadership positions in London, Zurich, Bermuda and now Guernsey. Her underwriting experience includes 12 years as a lead casualty underwriter for Swiss Re. She was previously a member of the JLT Insurance Management Bermuda senior executive team, working strategically to optimise captive solutions.

Christina is a graduate of Manchester University and holds a BA Honours degree. She is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute and a Chartered Insurer. She is also a member of the Institute of Directors. Christina is British and Bermudian.

Solly Bourne is a Senior Manager with Marsh Management Services (Guernsey) Limited and has more than 30 years’ experience in the insurance and captive management industry. Throughout his career, he has managed and advised a wide range of captive and commercial insurance structures for multinational and complex risk clients across multiple sectors.

Solly is recognised for his detailed technical knowledge across captive management, underwriting, reinsurance structures, insurance accounting and regulatory matters. He has significant experience supporting captive formations, cross-border restructurings, domicile transitions and innovative insurance solutions, including the establishment of Malta operations and migration of captive business from Guernsey. In addition to his client management responsibilities, Solly is a member of Marsh’s global captive sales force and serves on the Regulatory & Technical Committee of the Guernsey International Insurance Association.

Kate is a Guernsey Advocate and English Solicitor with more than 25 years of experience as a commercial lawyer. She has spent the last 18 years in Guernsey practising financial services law, and specialising in corporate and regulatory insurance matters. 

She is now a full time professional non-executive director, sitting on the boards of various insurance and investment companies, as well as Guernsey Finance. She also sits on the executive committee of the Guernsey International Insurance Association (GIIA) and is past Chair of GIIA’s Pensions De-risking sub-committee.
